I'm bad at updating

Some new shots are coming; Lately I've been pretty bad at the keep producing (life is dragging me down). I've been applying around town for internship/apprentice positions, and hopefully something comes up from that. I did a couple weddings recently, and I have got to say, that I won't do a single one more. Like trying to corral a tornado. Other than that, nothing really new to report.

Is alive?

I'm still hear, I've been "working" on some projects lately, and by working, I mean sleeping all day, and sleeping all night. Or at least, I would be sleeping if it wasn't for this crazy patch of insomnia I've had for the past month. Sleep, I miss you.

My schedule is looking like it will lighten up, which will give me more time for art, and more time for job hunting.

Not a lot of news coming in this week, getting ready for one of my first paid gigs. Wondering how it's going to work out without flash. Oh well, when all else fails, kick ass.

Michael Jackson. Obvious, huh? The complete media saturation kinda reminded me that MJ kicked ass. Musically kicked ass. I didn't really care too much for his extra-curricular activities, but Smooth Criminal kicked ass.

Post CCAD

Now that I have graduated, I've been looking for both work and to stay busy. So far, things have been going pretty well. I've come to the realization that while I know all the ins and outs of Photoshop and Illustrator, I haven't really used them to their full capacity. So, over the past couple weeks I've been trying to work on making more complicated photomantages.

It is definitely easier said than done. But all the better work will definitely come up here.

Commencement

Okay, so I officially received my BFA today. A little scary, I don't really know where I'm going, but I know what I want to do, and I know how to do. Let's hope I get there along the journey. Congratulation to everyone who graduated with me.

No More Classes

I'm writing this from the school labs, it'll be the last time I'm in here, and its kind of a sad feeling. But enough about that;

I'm going to be trying to produce a lot more now that I don't have anything else to do (other than grind awayfor pay checks). I don't have a proper light kit yet, so I'll be trying to buy one of those ASAP. Until then, I'm going to be turning into a street photographer.

On to today's peice;

A friend of mine had been bugging me about getting shots for her fashion thesis project, and despite my best efforts, I just couldn't ignore her anymore. Funny how I only ignore my friends. This shot was one of the shots from her final line, I believe the idea was Circus Couture. The shot went by really well, pretty quickly, and I learned how to try a corset! On a side note, I need some assistants.

Deadlines closing in.

Just coming out of class, and I figured I'd grace everyone (read; both of you) with a little update; This time with another portrait of the cool cool man named Lazarus.
